Main components
Hexapeptite: Of a biotechnological origin, built on the peptide structure of the botulinum toxin (prohibited in cosmetics) whose functionality it emulates by acting with a botulinum-like effect. It counteracts the relaxation of the facial muscles and determines a visible smoothening of pre-existing wrinkles.
Corallina Alga: Polysaccharide protein complex consisting of a mixture of various species of small algae that form small white bushes, this formidable sea alga contains a concentration of trace elements 200,000 times higher than those found in seawater. It acts as a stimulant and cellular activator; due to its firming, toning and dynamising action it is particularly suitable for tired, dull and relaxed skin.
Ceramide Complex: Blend of ceramide 1, ceramide 3, ceramide 6, which have the property of replenishing the lipid component of the skin by nourishing it, activating cell renewal and increasing skin tone, with the addition of cholesterol, with an emollient and sphingosine action, which performs a soothing action capable of reducing the annoying sensation typical of dry skin.
Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF): Blend that reproduces the complex of moisturising substances normally found in the skin: fundamental in cellular nutrition and in rebalancing skin metabolism: amino acids, proteins, sugars.
Milk Thistle: Contains a large number of bioflavonoid complexes including silybin which acts as an important antioxidant, with control of free radical damage greater than vitamin E. The silybin contained in milk thistle stimulates the activity of an enzyme, the Super Oxide Dismutase which acts as a scavenger of free radicals.
Thermal Trace Elements: Complex of mineral salts that maintain proper energy and skin vitality, giving the skin optimal hydration. Zinc, consisting of three basic amino acids: cysteine, cystine and methionine, favour the synthesis of DNA. Copper is of considerable importance for the keratinisation processes of skin and hair. Iron, the primary constituent of hemoglobin, promotes the transport of oxygen. Calcium plays a primary role in the contraction processes of all types of muscles. Manganese intervenes in cellular metabolism, it participates in the collagen synthesis process. Magnesium promotes the protection of vitamin E.
